Construction Manager (m/f/d)

Job description

We are seeking a Construction Manager (m/f/d) specializing in overall construction management for chemical plants. In this role, the candidate will support and coordinate the proper and timely completion of projects at a high professional level, reporting directly to the client/operator.

Specifically, the following key responsibilities include:

• Independent and autonomous coordination of all trades throughout the entire installation process
• Creation and processing of progress documents, such as… B. Schedule, cost, and progress reports
• Implementation of quality assurance measures and compliance with HSE guidelines
• Interface and supplier management
• Support of the project management team in claim management
• Preparation, execution, and documentation of meetings
• Monitoring/ensuring construction progress

Our requirements:

• Successfully completed vocational training as a construction technician, ideally in structural engineering
• Several years of professional experience and sound knowledge in the described areas of responsibility
• Confident demeanor when dealing with internal and external construction site personnel (suppliers)
• Interest in and ideally experience in the assembly supervision of complex plants (chemical/petrochemical/pharmaceutical)
• Confident and customer-oriented approach
• Independent and structured work style
  Strong communication and assertiveness skills, teamwork skills
  Good written and spoken German skills, English skills are an advantage
